One of the great things about being in Park City, Utah are the hometown heroes that do such a marvelous job in the Olympics. They represent this beautiful, little town so well, and this year’s Olympics were no exception.
Ted Ligety won this year’s first gold in the Sochi Olympics in the giant slalom. And did you know, he was also a FORMER EA STUDENT!!
“My first run was really good,” he said. “The course was pretty difficult. It went from being spring skiing conditions the last few days to being actually kind of wintry, and that was kind of an adjustment for a lot of the guys on the tour, and I was luckily able to lay down an awesome run and get a good margin on them.”
Congratulations to Ted and to all the Park City athletes that do such an amazing job in representing our town to the world.
