Precalculus: Semester 1
Description: This course covers using mathematical functions to solve real-world problems. Students will review basic functions operations, composition of functions, and inverse functions before moving into function transformations and polynomial, rational, and exponential and logarithmic functions. Throughout their studies, students will make sense of problems; reason abstractly and quantitatively; construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of them; model with mathematics; use appropriate tools strategically; attend to precision; look for and make use of structure; and look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning.
