Physics: Semester 2
Description: In this course, student will understand that physics is a mathematical treatment of change of state, thermodynamics, wave and sound, light and color, lenses, electric charges and fields, current and circuits, satellites, magnetism, nuclear reaction, etc. Throughout their studies, students will explain the interaction of electric charges; describe how electrical power is generated and transported to your homes; distinguish between different types of waves; describe the different parts that make up the electromagnetic spectrum (and characteristics of each); and explain where nuclear energy comes from and it is used productively. There is no lab component for this semester.
