Precalculus: Semester 2
Description: This course uses mathematical functions to solve real-world problems. The course discusses trigonometric identities and the law of sines, cosines, vectors, polar functions, parametric equations, conic sections, matrices and soling systems of linear equations, and combinatorics and probability.
Throughout their studies, students will make sense of problems; reason abstractly and quantitatively; construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of them; model with mathematics; use appropriate tools strategically; attend to precision; look for and make use of structure; and look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning.
