COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course furthers the introduction to the wonderful world of keyboarding in an organized and contemporary fashion. By using play-along recordings, students will get used to playing in various styles and feel what it’s like to play with other musicians. Students will understand and apply music theory concepts as they continue to improvise and compose original music. Students can expect to encounter a variety of listening and playing assignments, as well as lesson quizzes and exams, and will create a portfolio of recordings that reflect the progress they make.
