Kevin was first handed a guitar in high school. In those initial moments of lessons, it was clear that playing and creating music was going to be a serious part of his life and career. He earned a degree in Music from Berklee College of Music and has been teaching ever since. Kevin also writes and performs his own music, and is participating on a music documentary project to capture musicians and the stories they have to tell about the power of music in their own lives.
Kevin begins every lesson by listening to what the student's goal are and then in suggesting the best path to reach those goals. He has a knack for making lessons engaging and fun for students of all ages, even when teaching harder concepts. He spends time reviewing the fundamentals of music theory in every lesson so that students can elevate their learning and eventually improvise or even compose their own music.
