Geography: Semester 2
COURSE DESCRIPTION: In this course students will analyze the spatial organization of human populations and what role the environment and resources have played in their distribution on the earth and how that has changed. Students learn more about both the physical features of each continent and the political boundaries. Students will also analyze various data sets and come to evidence-based conclusions regarding human migration patterns, various environmental factors and how they interact with one another. Throughout their studies, students will define basic geographic terms; identify factors of both physical and human geography; analyze and create maps and correctly label locations.
