Environmental Science
Description: In this course, students will learn about the fundamentals of ecology: rocks, minerals, and soil; biomes; surface water and oceans; and earth and energy resources and human impact on these resources. Throughout their studies, studies will understand the variety of resources that the Earth provides and how to use resources wisely; explain how all things on Earth are connected; describe how energy is transferred from one system to another; describe the importance of water in all types of ecosystems; identify and understand how humans have both positive and negative influences on the Earth; and discuss methods of conservation of resources.
