Description: This course is designed to help students achieve a health-enhancing level of physical fitness through weight training. Students will develop and demonstrate a competence in a variety of motor skills and movement patterns; learn about responsible personal and social behavior; and recognize the value of physical activity while achieving a higher level of fitness. Students are required to engage in a fitness program with at least 45 days of activity spread across 24 weeks (or less). Before beginning any exercise program, consult with your doctor and parent/guardian.
