She is currently the director of MCCA Mozingo Kidz, MCCA Synergy, and the SCCHE Kinder Choir. She instructs children in basic vocal technique, music theory and rhythm, and uses music that is simple enough for beginners, yet musically sound and fun to sing and listen to. While teaching voice, she applies the same foundational technique there as in the choir. Her passion is teaching students to develop the natural beauty and resonance of their own voice, and to be comfortable singing without imitation. Bethany graduated in 2013 from Louisiana Baptist University with a BA in Communications and a Minor in Music. She continues to study to be better equipped at teaching and is pursuing a second music major degree. Bethany enjoys helping students of all ages to discover their own individual strengths, and delights in working with young beginners.
