COURSE DESCRIPTION: Voice: Foundations 2 focuses on singing performance. Students will learn to improve their skills and technique related to resonance and tonal placement. This course also discusses performance, audition techniques, and the basic building blocks to getting individual music projects started. Technology that has shaped modern-day singing technique, including microphones, is also introduced to help students understand and gain confidence in these tools. Students can expect to encounter a variety of listening and playing assignments, as well as lesson quizzes and exams, and will create a portfolio of recordings that reflect the progress they make.
