COURSE DESCRIPTION: Flute: Basics 2 continues building a solid foundation for the beginning flutist. Fundamental musical skills are addressed, such as reading and composing music. Students will learn notes, scales, rhythms, and key signatures, and apply this knowledge by practicing exercises along the way. Students can expect to encounter a variety of listening and playing assignments, as well as lesson quizzes and exams, and will create a portfolio of recordings that reflect the progress they make.
