Classical Guitar: Basics 1 – UC APPROVED
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Students in Classical Guitar: Basics 1 will learn a great deal about the basics of playing the classical guitar, but also about the basics of music in general. This course delves into the history of the classical guitar, showing students how the instrument was developed. Students will learn new songs in every lesson to improve notational reading skills, playing, and ear training. Students will encounter a variety of listening and playing assignments, as well as lesson quizzes and exams, and will create a portfolio of recordings that reflect the progress they make.
